Following the handing of £10,000 of taxpayers money to a civil servant 'offended' for having to walk past a portrait of the queen, the Taoiseach has pointed out  that " in Dublin Castle we do have portraits of British monarchs and we haven’t taken them down and they certainly don’t offend me.”
