Dalek - there are scientists looking into why some people never contracted covid despite living a normal life. I am one. I did not change my living habits. I have never contracted covid.
Unless you’ve been tested continuously for any immune response to COVID-19 (antigen test) since February 2020, you don’t know you’ve never had it. All you know is that you haven’t had any symptoms, if that’s correct. A high proportion of those who contracted COVID-19 suffered symptoms.
I was a f/t student also, doing a PG Dip (failed, my fault, not covid; I wasn't psychologically prepared and low finances and low career hiatus limited my well-being)
You can definitely get a test to see if you've had it historically. It can distinguish between infection antibodies and vaccine ones. I think biobank did it among others?
I am bit confused about covid now, clearly it is reduced to the status of flu these days (in fact it is less serious now than flu I am led to believe). Is this because it has mutated to be weak as piss or because of the vaccines. Are we all in the shit again if the vaccines wear off?
Guy I think it’s more a case of most people have had it plus the vaccine so are well protected. September I spent the last day of my holiday in a car with a couple who’d never had Covid and they went down with it as soon as we got home but o was fine. Seems my body’s prior experience was enough to send Slovak ‘rona running.
It is interesting. Until 2022 I and a few others in the family were in that category too (50% of us vaccinated and 50% not) but we all caught it in 2022 at what I call the family super spreader event (a lunch). I think everyone there who had not had it caught it so we are obviously not some kind of super protected family after all.
No idea if I have ever had it although had a couple of bouts of ‘flu’ that might have been it. Assume I have had it as it is impossible to avoid but the one test I had to take was negative.

Unless you’ve had some very regular and very unusual tests since early 2020 you don’t know you’ve never contracted COVID-19.

I've never had covid.
I've also never had a covid test.
Correlation =/= causation.

I lived through the pandemic with a partner (husband) who was clinically extremely vulnerable. He was born with a lung disease.
I know that I have never had covid 19. I was tested numerous times.

I had plenty of COVID symptoms, but all those tests I didn't take showed I definitely did not have COVID.

Not me.

I didn’t think it was possible to detect any antigen reaction after about 6 weeks from infection.

Yeah I don’t think this Bio one or similar does what you think it does Clergs:

Rhamnousia - you have planted a seed in my head now. Oh crikey - I am going to have to have to go for that covid test now. This is annoying me.

It never was serious unless you were old or had other relevant vulnerabilities guy

Please do let us know if you find a test which tells you conclusively if you have never had it. Don’t think such a test exists

Haven't a clue whether I've ever had it.
