the difference is Labour knows now that there is no better deal available than what May had negotiated. So they have struck a compromise that if you support my referendum we will support the deal.
not true coffers, they have this in the bank effectively since Boris basically has to support this deal in a GE, whereas they might get a better "labour" deal if they reject and can win a GE (seems unlikely they'd win but who knows these days)

I am fooking howling with laughter that the "hated backstop", an unacceptable remote fallback option is now just the future indefinate set up for NI.
I hear you sumo but i am sure that if corbyn was to sink this deal and then go to Eu for a new deal, they will simply tell him to sod off. they know that he sank two negotiated positions twice and he has enough enemies to not be able to get any deal through parliament.
from all angles this is probably the best we can have
i agree and he has not said ever that he wants to leave the CU. That takes care of all the ballache from the EU side. But I doubt they will have anything more to give than say...some exemptions on immigration or benefits given to EU migrants. That's about it
