For an hour last night it was like the heavens opened. Way way way past heavy rain, an absolute deluge. My water gauge tells me 13mm fell in an hour. I have never known anything like it.
Oh and... I'm going to have to put on a cardie... Autumn is here. I can't deny it any more....

Odd yesterday in decent sunshine to have so many leaves about. Still, mid Sept for real midsummer sun for half the day was v welcome.

Big thunderstorm but not windy at all, which was a relief with mature trees around

I'm bored of this weather now. It's mediocre during the day but then the wind dies when the sun goes down and it's still humid so I'm having trouble sleeping without the joy of being able to at least enjoy a glorious sunny day.
