Russian plane incident

If the plane was full of Ukranian PoWs and was shot by Ukraine down because Russia ddidn't inform Ukraine, might that change the Ukrainian approach to shooting down Russian planes in the future?

I guess the one thing we know wasn't on the plane was 70 odd Ukrainian POWs

we know this because Russia says they were and everyone knows that Russia lies constantly about everything, even something as simple as a plane crash that would have bodies/body parts among the debris

You wouldn't put it past the Russians though to manage to find 70 dead POWs to give some credence to their story.  They might find it hard to explain the bullet holes though.

In a war where military logistics are already stretched beyond anything, the ruszists will not spend precious airtime on PoW's. Plus the MoD's statement as a contra-indication.

Since the UAF seem to have a fine nose for particularly usefull hits, my bet is on a transport of S-300 missiles.

a.  these things happen in war - see the Montevideo Maru in 1942 (not marked as a POW transport, note);

b.  why on earth would one go to the cost of transporting POWs by air; and

c.  if you think that the Russians are telling the truth....
