I know a Roffer who said she was a family friend, so whoever that was, my condolences. She was a lovely lady by all accounts.
How tremendously sad. 95 is pretty good innings, though. And she brought joy to lots of people. And she escaped the Nazis. Plaudits all round.

Very sad but 95 is a good age to go. I have kept all those books we have upstairs as they are so lovely.

Joking aside she has been a widow for a long time now. Her husband, Tom (professional name Nigel) Kneale , father of TV sci-fi scarums, died a long time ago. Hope they are reunited.
