Written and supported as a one-man band by one of the co-founders of Tumblr who made a ton of money when that got sold and then wrote Overcast and sells it because he just loves coding and programming.
Currently: Hospital Podcast with London Elektricity because I prefer some choons whilst I work, but I have around a dozen speech podcasts that I still listen to on a fairly regular basis.
It really depends what you are interested in - what sort of thing are you after?
Oh and podcasts I listen to - really highly taste dependent, but:
Lore and Unexplained (American and English true-life stories of unexplained/weird/creepy incidents)
Tim Ferriss' long form podcast interviews - there are hundreds over the years from some very famous to very obscure but interesting people (currently listening to a recent one with Richard Turner - supposed to be the world's best card sleight of hand magician, 6th degree black belt in karate, former stuntman, former trapeze artist, former professional drug dealer - oh and he's blind btw). Highly recommend his first podcast with Josh Waitzkin (a very old one - in the first ten on the list)
Several cryptocurrency and martial arts related ones because I'm into that stuff.
I am not a big podcast head but I like the Frank Skinner one (so shoot me), the Theranos series was ace, that posh boy that does the history one - dan snow? some intelligence squared (but varied quality), and there's a thing called smart 7 which is a daily 7 minute news digest of the top 7 stories online by 7am

I use podcast addict as it's free and the UX is pretty good, but it gradually takes up a massive amount of hard drive.
