Numb toes

Just got back from a week skiing and some of the toes in my right foot are sort of numb, I can still move them but they feel wierd.

very distracting

Speed is of the essence here - no time to take yourself off to A&E - you need to find a belt to chew down on, a big knife and get those piggies off before the bad aids spreads.

Exactly.  You just have to remember to release the belt for a while every six minutes, or you'll lose the leg as well.  Only 30 seconds or so though.  Not long enough to let the Bad AIDS spread from the affected area.

probably some minor circulatory issue caused by a slight frost nip due to cheap boots, crap socks, cold temps and weak circulation.

A few years ago I was surfing in some really cold spring weather when water temps are v low, and when I came out two of my middle toes were behaving oddly.  They were whitish yellow when the others were pink. I couldn't feel them or make them scrunch up when I clenched my foot.  Like dead sausages.  It freaked me out. I assumed I had discovered a circulatory issue.   I plodded back home concerned that they would go from yellow to black to amputated. In the bath they remained steadfastly dead looking.  Then the next day they hurt. And the next. But then they sorted themselves out.

re 12.23, I think we all know and accept that this is a rare case of vibration white finger caused by the strap on that goes up to 11.

More seriously though, if all those things in 11.53 post are as you say then perhaps you have a little episodic Reynaud's syndrome? Google it.  They say stressful times can trigger arterial spasm which impacts blood flow to capillaries.

snap, Bails.

How are you?

Sorry not to have been in touch but I have been on a month of manoeuvres, so rather violently busy (save for the odd manic posting when in airport lounges etc). Conditions will continue until mid April.

Great minds. Or I used my witchy powers.

All good here. I’m starting something mid March that takes me through to end April but I’m doing something near you in May so let’s see if we can catch up then.

Birthday lunch etc?

Can I just say that I have just had the most extraordinary luck and won a total peach of a job that I was born to do and am so excited about it that it's really quite tragic how happy it's made me.

Perfect mix of facts, law and circumstances, plus the individuals concerned don't have a clue how to sort this so will be obliging and will take advice and won't start to game it all by showing how much they know.

Only problem is that Linklaters and Herbert Smith are also involved.  Need to re-read the law firm letters thread and have a chuckle.
