It was a disgrace how Farron was hounded out of leadership for his religious beliefs. Typical of the so-called "tolerant" party. At least he wasn't a Catholic, or he'd have been banned from standing, like that poor chap in Stoke.
He got hounded out for saying that he couldn't carry on lieing that he thought being gay was ok, that he should have never said it was ok, and that it was not ok. So he tied himself in a knot by telling fibs and resigned.
