Making Boeing great again

Purely a rebranding exercise apparently

Trump said if it were up to him he would "rebrand" the Boeing 737 MAX 8 and "add some great

features" to win back the public trust.

Working software might be a start. The fact that they have changed it might indicate that they messed up first time. Shame that two planes crashed and they are on the hook for billions in compensation.

Still, Boeing do make some good planes, the Max 8 wasn't one of them.

The 737 MAX 8 programme will go down in history as a textbook example of corporate arrogance, regulatory failure and mistaken cost-cutting.

Given the attitudes and practices now uncovered at Boeing the really BIG question is which OTHER Boeing planes are engineering disasters waiting to happen?
