So Bayern were pretty shite last night, but winning 3-1 is still a pretty big statement.

English teams are pretty dominant, other than Barcelona, I can't see anyone stopping them this season.

VVD is, imho, probably the best CB in the world right now. He's probably at least make the bench at Newcastle.

Hurrah for blighty I say.   Always good to wallop the Germans.

Even Spurs? I can't see us progressing much further than the QF, unless we get Porto (and even then...)

If they don't draw Barcelona or Man City, I'd say Spurs have a decent chance over two legs.

Stop being a wimp ML, we can take them all on!  remember NuWHL comes online soon

Too many years of hurt/disappointment to be anything other than pessimistic, Wang

Too many years of hurt

the state of Spurs fans ffs.

I'd quite like to see:

Man Utd vs Liverpool

Porto vs Cith (got money on them to win it)

Spurs vs Ajax

Juventus vs Barcelona

I'd like to see

Liverpool v City (given current battle for the PL)

Barca v Ajax (de Jong and De Ligt vs future employers)

Juve v Man Utd (Ronaldo returns)

Spurs v Porto (easiest tie on paper for Spurs)

Liverpool v City in the final.

After beating them to the league title, City will be out for revenge. Great double for the Super Reds.

Hopefully Pep can continue to show that he can't win the Champions League when there is a modicum of competition.
