Labour's thinking on what to do with the Post Office. Quite informative.

I'm a bit shaky on this but;

isn't the Post Office separate from Royal Mail, with Royal Mail being mostly private (think there is an HMG shareholding?) and Post Office remains in Public hands?

it's just, it would be weird to list the Secretary of State for Trade and business as your 100% shareholder on your group structure chart if you were privately owned right?

Royal Mail plc is a public limited company that was privatised in 2014 through an initial public offering.

Post Office Limited is a private limited company that is owned by the public through its sole shareholder, the Secretary Of State For The Department Of Business And Trade

Me too Buzz.

If I remember rightly Monty or someone else on here missed out completely because they were in that pot of people who were too greedy and  they'd applied for too much and in the scale back they got no shares.

I also remember Chukka Umunna massively ramping it up before the IPO sepnding weeks and weeks telling evreyone how underpriced it was and that everyone who bought int was going to amke loads of money.
