I've never understood the whole "putting tje seat down" thing.
As I'm quite fastidious, I put the seat and the lid down, as it looks nicer aesthetically, but I can understand men not bothering and leaving it up.
What I don't get is why women would just want the seat put down, unless they're just so bloody lazy they don't want to do it themselves. It just seems odd.
