Ingredients

What do you always have in your fridge without fail? Stuff you can grab and use to make something delicious.

We always have chorizo, Parmesan, chillis (paste and actual), decent butter and lemons in there...

You?

The Mrs does because those are the instructions on the bottle, Clergs. I pick my battles - the ambient temperature of ketchup isn't one of them.

I don't keep butter in the fridge, tho, if it's the current pat.

Always have in fridge: milk, salad stuff, smoked salmon, cheese, cold meats, ginger, chillies, random green veg and a sparkling cold drink and (nearly always) a few beers.

In the fridge:

Colman’s English mustard

Heinz tomato ketchup

Japanese mayonnaise

Salted butter

Jam or marmalade (currently Pimm’s jam)

Sweet chilli sauce

Sparking mineral water

Heh, I never read labels and guess I just store stuff like my mother did - amazed at some of the products that say on the label keep in the fridge after opening - soy sauce?!?!

parmesan

feta

butter

a range of Chinese sauces and pastes

chilli/ginger/ garlic pastes

cream (this is new lockdown thing)

peppers/bok choi/celery/spring onions/mint/parsley
