Always have in fridge: milk, salad stuff, smoked salmon, cheese, cold meats, ginger, chillies, random green veg and a sparkling cold drink and (nearly always) a few beers.
Heh, I never read labels and guess I just store stuff like my mother did - amazed at some of the products that say on the label keep in the fridge after opening - soy sauce?!?!

Why do so many people keep preserves and condiments in the fridge? Mustard, Ketchup, jam etc - all belong in the cupboard.
