If in the current climate when security had slipped up so badly, Sir Keir had delivered Mr Glitterati a decisive right hook that had floored him, would you have blamed him?
He handled the idiot ok. I would have thought less of him if he’d thrown a punch. Politicians need to be able to think clearly under pressure. That would have been an indicator of weakness
Indeed Guy. Missed opportunity tbh. A little reflex jab to the guy’s jaw and his vote amongst the white van driving classes would have gone up by about 300%
I think the problem is you only get a split second to react and if he had turned out to be the guy responsible for fixing your mike/hair/make up and you sucker punch him in the throat it isn’t a great start to your speech
How hard is it to pat some down who's wearing a t-shirt connected to Extinction Rebellion to make sure they haven't got glitter before allowing them in?

It all looked quote well planned from both parties from my perspective.
Would be interested to find out more about who the perpetrator is when the police have charged and named him.

He handled it very well
Like a true leader
But yes if he'd had knocked the bloke clean out (and he can do that) then yes I would have liked it
You f about, you find out
Luckily for the protestor, Starmer is an alpha make and so doesn't need to slap people about

I think a punch would have been OTT, given, like all of the climate protesters, he looked like a stiff breeze would knock him over.
Presumably he's not climate, glitter bring very bad for the environment. I couldn't work out what he was for/ against. Poor effort.

The perpetrator looked very soy
Starmer looked, briefly, like a game show host from 1988. Think he should have kept the jacket on tbh, made him look less dull

I am not sure he handled it THAT well to be honest but it was fine. What the fvck the security team were doing is anybody's guess.

No punch needed. He had a flicker of fear and then annoyance that security took so long.

As predicted, it turns out the bloke is a full time employee of XR.
As is normal, poor little TOOFA ends up with a large rake whacking into his gurning gob.
