Topical q! Ive been trying to work up to twenty but it is incredibly hot so i havent managed past 12. Today might be the day. It's a good place to practise breathing.
Aw, I’d love a sauna. Might have a bath. Definitely having some wine in a bit. No idea what to have for dinner (bearing in mind I ate delicious junk for lunch) so need to make that decision…
I might have 2… it’s so delicious to be alone and scroll to my hearts content while getting gently merry.
Such a trip down memory Lane today, took the kids to look at the outside of my childhood home and the owners invited us in and so much is the same. Then met with my music teacher after 24 years at her house and again it was just so sensory all the smells and the art.
Am at the pub I used to go to with my then bf’s family on the weekends and it’s the same actual landlady 23 years later and literally nothing has changed apart from the colour of the cloth on the pool table
I am, but as I said, I don’t trust the pipes. There’s some things - sewage and jellyfish in the sea (there were some washed up on one beach this week) and the grubby kitchen at a couple of the more reknown restaurants I just can’t get past even now
Just got the train back from Edinburgh. Went to a sauna and did a poo in the plunge pool. It got closed shortly afterwards. I decided it would be best to leave.

Night in watching the criggit, with homemade mince curry and a bottle of Portuguese red.

Can you get a sauna where the temperature is such that you can't quite decide whether you need a jumper or not?

I reckon an off sauna in Scotland is probably precisely that temp

Latest time for a roast is 5.
Neville has arrived and I’ve gone to the pub alone to drink a pint. Heaven.

I am worried about how i can fit regular saunaing into my day. It is so good. Anyway, margarita now. Although talk of beer is swaying.

🤣 it’s just not british to have a roast after 5 and on a Friday night. You’d fail your citizenship test outright with behaviours like that

Pint is conceptual, it’s actually a bottle of birra morreti
they didn’t clean the pipes much back in the day

Roast is a weekend evening meal. Roast chicken variants are a possibility during the week but reasonableness is accompaniment-dependent

there must be some decent craft ales in the benighted south of the country?
(not that I can really talk since I am in Notts atm)

I h8 roasts. The smell puts the Last of the Summer Wine theme on my IJ and it’s double maths tomorrow morning.
You’ve got no business having one of those on a sacred Friday night

Neame use only the finest Faversham spring water, Kentish hops and whatever else they chuck in it (Barley? Or is it malt? Or is that the same thing?)
anyways, get it down you

As pure as it maybe, her pipes were always minging
