Hard to tell. Prob a few thousand with her crashing the £, £3k in mortgage payments not offset by increased rent, and prob £10-£20k off UK pension investments.
Probably a bit better off. Tend to buy locally produced food and higher interest rates (although that’s mostly a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine) mean I’m getting some return on my savings.
Personally not much, as we're on a 5-year fixer which hopefully will have settled down by then. Very difficult to quantify the reduction in my pension investments, but I expect hundreds rather than thousands a year. Mrs Dux is much worse off as a result of Truss, thanks to to increased interest rates on BTL mortgages just at the wrong time.
You can't separate the two Dux. Brexit is the only reason a fvcking nut job like Liz Truss was in power, with the inevitable consequences.
I reckon about £75k and counting. Brexit boost to inflation, weak pound, labour costs and UK supply chain nonsense for things like building materials when doing extension/loft, mortgage rates doubled.

Personally no discernible difference.

Isn’t this the point, the loss of EU rights for most people is an a million different small touch points.
1. The cost of visa process for 000s of UK students to go to EU as part of their degree
2. the increased cost of importing booze from EU / the decision by so many small companies that used to import to stop doing so
etc

Sorry that was Truss. Brexit every import has cost 15-20% extra since 2016. Would reckon min £30k worse off due to to it and counting.

Couple of grand a month in mortgage payments
whatever it cost me to get a Dutch passport (couple of hundred quid tbf)
however much more I now spend when I’m in the EU due to the £ tanking

Poorer. The weak pound has been a pleasant and sustained pay rise.

Without Brexit:
Poorer, as I'd have lost my bet with Ladbrokes.

I too have no gidge but i think housing costs directly correlate with mardyness in the wider world. Stressed people aren't fun to be around.
