It’s frank and honest. Ireland have banned it, I know. One of the reasons being that under 18s might see it, apparently. Under 18s have periods, ffs. So archaic.
If there isn't decent education to explain to young women how to insert an applicator tampon then maybe they need to put it in adverts. And if I remember correctly (the age again) I'm sure there were some close to the line sanny ads in Mizz and Just Seventeen. No worse than that anyway.

I thought that they were trying to ban ads that make promises with strings attached......

I can't see the picture very easily (it's very small and at my age etc) but it looks like a Tampax advert. So I don't see the problem.

Stix, it’s that Tampax one with a weird tampon themed talkshow thing. It’s inoffensive.

It's a TV ad? Oh, it looked like a magazine ad.
Perhaps if humanity's defender in chief had posted a link instead I would have known. But links aren't her strong point.

Fair enough.
Re the OP, I think being offended by period adverts is the weirdest level of offence ever. The End.

There's quite a lot of competition for that these days, I'm afraid. And I say that as a liberal with left leaning tendencies.

I’m one of those. Remember when we both were quite stridently Tory? A different time...
Agreed re offence levels. People. Blah.
