loads of my peers were enspudded b4 we did GCSEs (8/130 in my year, 10/140 in my sister's).  eldest of the progeny will be 28 this year.  

none mine (or afaik clubberz')

i'm pretty sure nobody was pregnant at mine. or at least not visibly so/to term.

 

and I don't recall people popping off to see cousins in Canada for a term or what not either

 

tbh bringing up a baby is probably more compatible with study than work - there is a good argument for having kids young, the way nature intended and having them in secondary school shortly after you start your career and off your hands by the time you are 40.  Happy days.

There were one or two. I went to an all boys school, but there was a girl's school next door. We all knew each other. You could guess who the young mothers might become. And the fathers.
