Doctor Li Wenliang

was only 34 years old when Covid-19 killed him.

What made him vulnerable?

He was from the weaker branch of our family.  The sorts who'd moon around on the north york moors and be taken with a chill Bronte-style.*

*We are not actually related

I expect that's right Abbs - including the unwise and malign attention of the political police.

It's just that when someone who knows and understands this stuff dies in the prime of life it rather undermines any suggestion that it's not something we need to worry about from a personal health point of view.

Dude, that sounds like my priest Uncle (great) who described his cleaner (who hailed from east africa) as his "creature".  When I pointed out that this was a bit not OK, he replied "we are all god's creatures young wang".

TBF I didn't call bollocks on this as he had just poured me a pint of screwdriver (just a dash of orange)

I'm going to give it the appropriate risk rating against all the other potential problems in my life and take the necessary steps depending on which is the most applicable at any given moment.  I won't worry about it at all in my car where the higher risk is that Audi driver.  But I will diligently wash my hands and face as soon as possible after being on public transport (i wouldn't normally).

Does that help, ??? ?

taking absolute tipping lungfuls of the stuff every day at work every day for a month

nobody ever said this virus wouldn’t kill any healthy people of working age anyway, what’s your point

I’m not being obtuse I’m answering your question directly and pertinently. Learn what words mean if you’re going to try to use them.
