Charlie Elphicke MP

Looks like the Tory arch-Remainer famous for his hatred of NGOs has been a bit norty.

The arch-remainer's articles on "Brexitcentral.com", the website that he is engaged to write for:

The Ghost of Project Fear is back again, but Britain stands ready for Brexit Charlie Elphicke MP | 8th July 2019

We're ready for No Deal here in Dover, so let's call a halt on begging for an Article 50 extension Charlie Elphicke MP | 9th April 2019

We must not allow ourselves to be bullied by idle threats from politicians in Paris Charlie Elphicke MP | 1st November 2018

Brexit will allow us to have lower, fairer and simpler taxes Charlie Elphicke MP | 28th July 2018

The Bank of England's latest Brexit warning is Project Fear all over again Charlie Elphicke MP | 31st October 2017

Brexit must mean an end to uncontrolled EU immigration Charlie Elphicke MP | 5th October 2016

Anything that brings BJ one step closer to losing his working majority is fine by me.

Like most of these people, he's pretended to change his tune since 2016.

So unless you've been consistently idiotic for a decade or more, you're not fit to hold a government position?

3-ducks is quite right, Elphicke was a staunch Remainer (and early supporter of post-referendum Grieve amendments), but represents a seat that voted over 63% for Brexit. He's not stupid.

So unless you've been consistently idiotic for a decade or more, you're not fit to hold a government position?

Sounds about right.

September, according to the news. But does that mean trial or just first hearing for pleas and to set trial date?
