I have to admit I didn't make it to the end of that article. The thought of not being around to see my kid grow up makes me too sad.

No, there wasn't. He wanted to live to the last. But he was stuck in that body either way (and plenty of people feel differently).

Yes of course and I agree.  I just don't think there was any evidence he was trapped that way.  Many other ways obviously, just not that one on this occasion.  He seems to actively want to be there as long as possible no matter what for reasons I understand.
