I don't think it shows how disengaged people are, I think it shows how little politics matters outside of its bubble
it doesn't help that it is quite slow moving (cough, emergency Rawanda leglisation has taken how long now and can apparently wait until MPs have their holiday) in a fast moving world
it doesn't help either that it is intrinsically boring, silly and difficult to influence
