It was suggested by a dear friend at RoF that readers of RoF might like to see my weekly depictions of life during my daily lockdown exercise in SW London.
Ordinarily on a Tuesday you will find me in an etching art studio and for the rest of the week I’m a senior lawyer working in a city law firm. Given the art studio is presently closed (like practically everything else), I have needed an art substitute. This has led me to create photographic collages (generally to a colour theme) of things I’ve seen on that day’s walk.
Colleagues in my team have also come up with some gnarly suggestions for me (Olympic medal colours - in progress, only silver so far; a house in each colour of the rainbow; neon ...). I haven’t run out of ideas yet (colours are often revisited - who knew there was so much pink!) as I’ve become intimately acquainted with my ‘hood over the last several weeks.
These can also be found on my Instagram page joannamarietaylornz. Anyway, please enjoy!
