What do people think are the best and worst transfers of the Summer from the perspective of the buying and selling clubs?
Buying
Best - examples in my opinion would be Gvardiol and McAllister. Both seem very good value for proven players at the highest level
Worst - I can't immediately think of some obvious clangers but the two that strike me of being either too expensive given their circumstances are Mount and the mooted Lavia deal. Mount compounded by the fact I'm not sure we needed a player in his position over a centre half or defensive midfielder.
Selling clubs
Best - Caicedo just for pure profit
Worst - Kovacic. Pocket change for an amazing footballer to a potential rival.
Alessio Russo disqualified as that wasn't a transfer between clubs but turning down a world record transfer fee only for the player to leave for free (to the same club) only months later is peak United

Honourable mentions to Tonali (great buy) and Berg (crazy sale if you're Sheff United)

Bellingham to Madrid for less than Rice, Enzo, Caicedo. Insane value.
Brighton have done the best business selling.
Wet Spam might live to regret gutting their team for cash. If Paqueta goes I can see them in a relegation battle.

Yeah I'd be pretty fvcked off at the long-term Moyesification of West Ham if I were a fan. All these English losers on long contracts

Actually, I forgot Bellingham. I agree that was great business

I thin Havertz and Rice are brilliant signings for Arsenal. They should have got in an out and out 9 though,
Tonali could be a great buy for Newcastle. He and Guimaraes and one of Joelinton or Willock is a hypermobile, powerhouse midfield three with loads of goal threat. And we’ve barnes for a switch-up although we don’t have much of a natural left side.
Sales - I thought we got good value for asm; Caicedo, Brighton have absolutely ripped whichever mega club buys him’s face off. So he’s the star sale.

yes, Bellingham a great buy, and really needed as Madrid require a midfield refresh. He’s nothing like the midfielders they’ve been relying on in the last decade, tho, could barely be more different from Kroos or Modric.
Unlike seemingly the entire world, I think Kane will do well at Munich although he should have moved three years ago.

Madrid have managed the transition from Kroos, Casemiro and Modric insanely well.
Camavinga, Bellingham, Valverde and Tchouameni is as good as any midfield unit on the planet. Vini Jr needs a world class strike partner though and Mbappe is staying at PSG.

Barnes to Newcastle is looking good, even after a mere cameo appearance at the weekend. Maddison also looking good for Spurs.
Interested to see how Jackson does at Chelsea.

Jackson looked shite yesterday. Maybe it was nerves.

Maddison looked good and was a reasonable transfer fee
There have been a lot of players going for overpriced sums in my opinion
Signing of the season? Only time will tell

Can someone explain the Havertz hype? That to me is a complete mystery
