Does anyone on ROF work for the SRA?
I am intrigued how the regulator has not been overhauled as everything they do seems to be an absolute sh1tshow. They make bad decision after bad decision (or fail to investigate serious issues, such as WBD acting for the Post Office).

In the unlikely event anyone here does, do you think they would admit to it?

Why is it unlikely that anyone here does?
Well the post would anonymous and SRA workers may actually be proud of (they shouldn't be)/keen to defend their employer.

There is a news item today of a decision which is arguably an illegal use of power by a tribunal. The make up of the tribunal and regulator is flawed. There is also the issue of time spent on these matters rather than more significant dishonest breaches which occur over time.

They are obsessed with going on's at drinks parties, and completely un-interested in large scale money laundering by City firms.

That whole thing about their investigation of that grim A&O story was darkly hilarious.
"In the morning the bog seat was up which meant he had probably taken a piss and therefore he wasnt lying when he said he wanted to go into her flat to take a piss and so there was no dishonesty..."
Tw4ts.

It seems to follow that any allegation of sexual harassment in the workplace involving a qualified lawyer (or a trainee) must be reported to the SRA - and presumably if firms fail to report they are breaching the rules requiring reporting.
