Short episodes, feel-good and some very funny moments. I would definitely watch it. What risky said about Alexis. Would be good if they did a spin off where she frequently got her kit off.
We’ve just watched the first 3 episodes of series 1.
The town sign episode did what I needed. Proper laugh out loud. I will try and remember that sensation when I go to see my mother tomorrow afternoon. I’m going to need it.
Sails your thread on elderly parents resonates. Just far too loudly.
The town sign was one of the best, love that episode. It's enjoyable fluff and sometimes that's what you need. I liked Deadloch recently for the same reason.

It’s the sort of gentle comedy people o here seem to like. Alexis is hawt.

Started well but it’s really a one gag show and got repetitive quite quickly.

Catherine O'Hara is amazing. The Levis' (dad and nepo son) eyebrows can get irritating after a while. I love the Stevie character.

My 21:38 notwithstanding, I think Superstore is better.

The episode where Moira pretends to be cockney whilst buying a second hand car is pure class.

It appealed to my sense of humour. Moira is wonderful.
Give it a go.

Prodders - give Jury Duty a try. It’s on Amazon.
Are you watching Schitt’s Creek on Dave? I couldn’t find the first few episodes.

Found the yank middle aged model/actors small town schmaltzy vibe and middle class problems fake and boring. The gf likes it.

Is Schitt’s Creek worth starting??
Not unless you already have a paddle!

I adore Moira.
But agree Superstore is more *rounded*
Schitts Creek kept the family entertained and from killing each other during lockdown.

Schitt's Creek is excellent. I found first few episodes a bit meh/obvious but it really grows on you and the characters are fantastic. Top programme.
