Potential GDPR breach - letting agent

I am having an annoying dispute with my LL and their letting agent that I wont bore people with.

In that  context I got an email last night which was sent  by a family member of the LL to the letting agent and accidentally cc'd me in.  Small point but I never gave my consent to the letting agent for my email address (and who knows what else) to be shared with anyone.  Only the named LL should have my data I would argue.

Easily done by them I am sure, but I can I leverage this potential breach and give them a scare?

Ta

Since the landlord has ultimate legal responsibility I can't imagine there isn't an automatic provision for your data to be shared with them. Maybe the family member is their agent idk.

SS - I agree it would be a total try on, it has not prejudiced  me at all but they are being very petty and this strikes me as being a useful stick to beat them with.

Going only on what you’ve said on here - sounds like you’ve lost perspective, focus on what’s important and have a think about what really is important and disregard ego driven stuff and irrelevant noise
