I think UEFA need to watch out for LIV champions league. They have zero leverage to insist you play in the CL as far as I can tell. CL was what clubs in shitholes like Manchester used to be able to use to get people in apart from cash. Now you get more cash in a desert shithole to still be in the CL if they pull it off.
You need to be in a Uefa club ie. Europe to play in the Uefa Champions League. Alhtough, oddly enough, there is one country in the Middle East that is actually in the Uefa "family" ... Israel.
I think the amounts involved to finance a LIV Champions League (at least six or seven genuinely top tier teams) would make even MBS blanch. Would seem much more sensible to bankroll the European Super League, unless of course it was vital for all the games to be played in KSA. But if he fancies having a go, it'll make for great car crash viewing.
