I've read about South American drug gangs building semi-submersible craft and the odd genuine submarine to ship drugs to the US but apparently one sank just off the coast of Spain this week and has been seized by the Spanish authorities. It's got to be quite a serious craft to have crossed the Atlantic which is even more impressive if it's been built in a jungle shipyard.

??? I think one or two are like that but most seem to be regular boats where they've enclosed and sealed the cockpit so you can load them up and run with most of it submerged so it's harder to spot. They sound like death traps.

Sailers, read the wiki page. There's quite a few a bit more sophisticated than that. Proper bespoke and capable of proper submersion. I hope when Trident II is retired that they make sure they know exactly where they are going.....

I don't think you peddle them across the Atlantic Sails, they must have a mothership that releases them within range of their destination
