Laz the issue is not that he called a friend for help, it was that the friend was repaid from campaign funds.

Guy, the friend also had to cash in their ISA for him, I'm delighted she got her money back but he paid her corruptly. He had also been treating this donor money as personal funds by transferring it to his own account (allegedly).

I've seen this sort of post on social media today listing Tory MPs. It's always mostly gay Tory MPs who get listed, e.g. more than half of those on the list posted by previous poster. I'm not saying that all of those MPs are victims of a homophobic media and its amplifiers. However, given that immediately after at the last election there were only 20 out gay Tory MPs elected out of 365 Tory MPs in total, it seems statistically unlikely that such a large percentage would feature in these cases without them being targeted by the media.
