The mini golf and the tennis courts aren't actually near the Lido. They are off Stoke Road. Park in the college car park and they are right there, one end of Stoke Park. And you have to pay for them from the bloke in the shed. There's a good pub there called The Stoke as well.
Turn off Stoke Road into Nightingale Road and you'd better have a healthy seven figure sum if you want to buy a house there. Even a house in Markenfield Road, also off Stoke Road, went for 950K the other week, So not entirely right AMIS.
Guildford is pleasant as a city but when you have the surrey hills 15 mins away why live there. Full of w**kers at night, largely run down off the high street
Rodger on QI last night (repeat on dave) they mentioned elmbridge. Most dogging spots of any boro in the uk. Also pay more in income tax than the combined populations of cardiff and newcastle.

The mini golf is free (yes, free hehe!!) for anyone who has bought a ticket for the swimming. HTH.
NB: last year, the golf was closed for maintenance. Not sure if it's reopened.
