watching the faces of the tozzas of the board gnarl with rage and bhelplessness as their beloved tozzas lurch from 1 fook up 2 another is quite fun davos. tho admittedly their facial melts when the tozzas lose will b different level
I don't think this rancid Tozza government should be in for a second longer, but Rayner is thick as mince, and not having her tweets checked during conference is a fail.
the only reason we are not having a GE now is a combination of a grim determination to cling to power for the sake of it and the hope against hope that something will crop up (perhaps a short victorious war against somebody feeble aka Thatcher) to save their bacon.
Who would we be having this short victorious war against exactly? Do you think the argies are going to have another go? The new aircraft carrier needs a proper runout.
An invasion of the channel Islands was set to go ahead on the appointed day. For young Guy Crouchback it had been a 'good war'. Wipe them out! he cried as the small flotilla arrived in St Peter Port. Three hours of skilful manoeuvring later the first troops raced ashore to capture the garrison at Blackgang Chine.
"Britain faces long-term challenges that need us to put the national interest first. Rishi Sunak and this Government are doing just that and it would be wrong to call an early general election now."

I am yet to hear a decent reason why we shouldn't have a GE immediately

Now now Davos, Sunak has been "out an about" and that's not what the people are telling him they want.

Is there a Blackgang Chine in Guernsey? I thought it was in the IoW?

I don't fancy a war with the French, they have the same cruise missiles as us and they appear to be quite effective.
Maybe a skirmish with Fiji after they beat us at rugby next week?
