Most reds are drunk too warm anyway. Should be 16-18 degrees even for the likes of Syrah and Cab Sav, not straight off the shelf/out of the wine rack in 20 plus degree heat.
I ordered some Beaujolais in a bar near the Eiffel tower on a sweltering day in August. The waiter asked us it chilled! They obviously do this to catch our the tourists. They must think we're mugs.

Typically tart on the palate, no depth, bitter aftertaste. Avoid.

Villa Antinori Toscana Rosso for a mid weight all purpose blend.
For Pinot Noir the BBR own label Côte d’Or is pretty good.

You know there’s reds that can be drunk slightly chilled? And also lighter reds?

The Fleurie Merkz suggested would be perfect chilled on a warm summer evening.
