Easy drinking red reccos please

Most reds are drunk too warm anyway.  Should be 16-18 degrees even for the likes of Syrah and Cab Sav, not straight off the shelf/out of the wine rack in 20 plus degree heat.

I ordered some Beaujolais in a bar near the Eiffel tower on a sweltering day in August. The waiter asked us  it chilled! They obviously do this to catch our the tourists. They must think we're mugs.
