EXCLUSIVE - BREAKING NEWS - Ince & Co suspends top partner

RollOnFriday can exclusively reveal that Andrew Iyer, one of Ince & Co's top partners, has been suspended from the firm.

Iyer is head of the firm's Global Energy and Offshore Group. He’s also a successful novelist, publishing two legal thrillers. And now he finds himself starring in one himself - all trace of him has disappeared from the firm's website.

In a statement, a spokeswoman for Ince and Co said:

"We can confirm Mr Andrew Iyer has been suspended as a partner due to irregular financial behaviour. This is an isolated issue and no other partner or member of staff was involved.

This will have no material effect on the firm and no clients will suffer any loss.

This matter is under investigation, with which Mr Iyer is cooperating, and we cannot comment further at this stage."

She added that the police had been informed.

STOP PRESS: As of Friday afternoon, Ince & Co have confirmed that Iyer has resigned from the partnership.
