New iPhone app - how much will it cost your firm to bin you?

Scottish firm MacRoberts has joined the twenty-first century and released an app for the iPhone, which allows bosses to find out just how cheaply they can get rid of unwanted employees.

Last week, RollOnFriday reported on an app released by Australia's Allens Arthur Robinson - an exciting game based around re-arranging well-known phrases (one reviewer called it "better than Angry Birds" before being restrained). So that's some stiff competition. MacRoberts' effort involves users entering details of the age, salary and length of service of their chosen victim before finding out just how miserable their redundancy pay would be. Partners at Eversheds and DLA - two firms which dumped credit crunched staff at statutory minimum pay - were presumably early adopters.

A new high score on MacRoberts' exciting app

Find out what you're worth by downloading the thrilling application here. RollOnFriday bosses have discovered that they could clear RoF Towers for £13 and a bag of Haribo Starmix.
