RollOnFriday's annual Aussie Firm of the Year survey is receiving a bumper response. Thanks to all who have completed the quickie questionnaire so far. As a reward - and to encourage those who haven't filled it out yet - here's a tiny selection of some of the comments we've received as a taste of things to come.

Starting out strongly in the running comes Minter Ellison, which as well as being a great place to work would apparently also "win a sausage roll award hands down". In related events, RollOnFriday can reveal that the new coffee machine and staff break-out room at Mills Oakley are both "a hit". And finally at Gilbert + Tobin the partners are "both smart and cool" - writes one presumably scruffy and deeply sad partner.

It's not all plain sailing for the the firms. Dark clouds are looming at Dibbs Barker, where one correspondent - not fond of the scotchfinger and arrowroot replacements - weeps for his Arnotts Family Assorted. Even less joyful news comes from HWL Ebsworth, which desperately needs some of its happier staff to write in. "The firm is rightly regarded as a bunch of grasping, low rent and effete twats." Hmmm...

If you're at HWL Ebsworth, and want to redress the balance, or at Mills Oakley and don't like the new coffee machine, make sure you let us know. Keep your views rolling in - the survey will be running throughout December - so click here to give us your (anonymous) skinny on your firm (or here if you want to tell us about a European firm).
