A barrister has come up with a novel way to beat the credit crunch by selling himself on eBay.

David Gowler-Hart was called to the bar in 2001 and worked at a London solicitors' firm for a couple of years before moving to Deloitte & Touche. He then left to work on a consultancy basis, leaving him free to pursue his day job of selling Hi-Fi equipment. David told RollOnFriday that he'd had a very good experience of selling stereos on eBay, so he thought he might as well sell himself too. eBay users are able to bid for his services in the same way as they might normally buy consumer durables.

    Any bids?

David normally charges £70 an hour, but any readers who mention RollOnFriday when they get in touch can have him for £50. With a 97.7% approval rating that's got to be a bargain.
