Solicitor - NQ-5 PQE - EL/PL - Manchester
We are recruiting an NQ Solicitor with up to 5 years PQE to assist with Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims within our Manchester office.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting and assisting on Employers' Liability and Public Liability claims on behalf of leading insurers and insureds.
- Handling own caseload and assisting solicitors and partners with complex, high value, personal injury claims.
- Drafting pleadings, reporting to clients, preparing instructions to counsel and experts and attending in conference.
- Conducting research and keeping up to date with legal and industry practices.
Experience and Skills Required
- Completed the LPC or equivalent.
- An undergraduate law degree or equivalent (minimum 2:1 required).
- Previous experience of Defendant personal injury litigation would be an advantage, but is not essential.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently and effectively.
- A professional manner with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
