Solicitor Housing Management

An exciting opportunity for a Housing Management lawyer to join our team.  We are recruiting in Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Southampton for this position however we operate a fully hybrid working opportunity with plenty of client contact and on-going training and support. You will also be joining a directory ranked team.

We act for a large number of registered providers of social housing and local authorities including possession, injunction, disrepair on all aspects of housing functions including possession actions, antisocial behaviour and policy and procedure work.

We want to invest in your career and help you to become a recognised expert in your own right, so you will have plenty of one-to-one development and encouragement from your supervising partner (Lindsay Felstead), and the wider team. We will ensure that you get a good level of client contact and early responsibility.

Subject to your level of experience your case load will include injunctions and possession applications, disrepair applications, advisory work, equality act 2010, all aspects of drafting’s including pleading and witnesses’ statements and regular client communication.

Excellent client care and relationship skills are a must as much of the role will include developing and fostering relationships.

You will soon become an integral part of this highly regarded team, playing a key part in delivering an excellent level of service to our clients and building your legal career accordingly.

You will demonstrate talent, ambition and a real interest in the social housing sector. We expect you to have built up enough experience to be able to manage some work with minimal supervision, either in house or private practice.

Advocacy experience will be advantageous but is not essential. Most importantly you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, being able to adapt your style to communicate effectively with a wide range of professional people, and enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to your clients.

We expect you to be able to use your initiative, and be a forward-planner, anticipating your clients’ needs in advance wherever possible.
