We are looking for an experienced corporate solicitor to join our Birmingham office. You will support the partners and other members of the team and work on your own matters, undertaking a broad mix of corporate work such as M&A, corporate finance, private equity joint ventures, fundraising, general shareholder agreements, capital markets, and general corporate advisory work.
You will be part of a growing team which advises a broad range of clients, ranging from new start-ups, through to substantial private companies and PLCs on a broad range of corporate issues and transactions. A substantial amount of the team's work is international.

What experience is required?
- We expect that you will have 5+ years of qualification, with experience gained in a City or large regional firm.
- You will have a good background in transactional work
- You will be able to demonstrate both working as part of a team on large transactions, and/or managing smaller transactions largely unaided.
What skills and attributes would I need?
- Experience of running transactional work as the day to day fee earner on the deal.
- Good academics - 2.1 degree or equivalent with good A levels or equivalents
- Technically strong
- Excellent drafting and verbal/written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and team skills
- Willingness to take initiative and to participate in marketing activities
