Paralegal

This role is an excellent opportunity to gain very valuable hands-on experience with very high-quality work at an international firm. Joining a collaborative team of trainees and paralegals, the successful candidate will assist the partners and associates with a wide range of international and high-value disputes and corporate/commercial advisory. Superb analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work in a team are essential qualities.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Assisting lawyers with case management and with the preparation of legal documentation for contentious matters.
  • Drafting documents, including statements of case and letters, and arranging for the filing of the same electronically.
  • Document review, proof-reading and analysis of legal documentation.
  • Liaising with barristers and clerks as part of cases before various courts in London.
  • Preparing court bundles and exhibits.
  • Assisting in the preparation of relevant hearings and trials.
  • Legal and business research.

WHAT WE CAN EXPECT FROM YOU

  • 1+ years of experience of working as a paralegal in commercial litigation and/or international arbitration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience with the White Book and with bitcoin/digital currency strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the process of legal disclosure and the use of document review software strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage high volume workload.
