A female partner at a Welsh law firm has allegedly been caught pleasuring a male police officer in a police station.

According to various news reports, the lawyer was in an interview room at the unfortunately named Cockett police station in Swansea. A Police Community Support Officer heard groans coming from the room and walked in to find the partner in a "compromising position" with a half-naked detective inspector [Insert helmet joke here*].

The partner, who specialises in family law, is by no means the only lawyer to have engaged in badsexy activity. However, copping off** in a busy police station with an officer of the law may not have been the best way to keep a low profile about it.

Chief Superintendent Dorian Lloyd, head of professional standards at South Wales Police told RollOnFriday "we are fully aware of the allegations against the officer and an internal investigation is ongoing." He said that the officer has not been suspended but that "once the investigation has taken place the matter will be subject to a misconduct hearing". He added "Until this process is complete then it would be inappropriate to comment any further on the allegations."

Neither the lawyer or her firm responded to a request for comment.

As a family lawyer, experience of acrimonious settlements must be commonplace. In that respect, it would have been lovely to achieve a happy ending for once.
