A Linklaters associate and trainee apparently caused a security alert at Lyon airport last weekend when flying back from their work ski trip.

We're still waiting on comment from the firm. But sources say that a musical teddy bear one of them was carrying was picked up as a potential bomb by a security scanner. One of them was held at security, the other was escorted off the plane, both were questioned by police. An area of the airport was cleared and the plane was held and its seats dismantled and searched.

How it might have looked

Eventually the bomb squad confirmed it was just a harmless toy and the lawyers were released without charge. Albeit after the flight had departed, leaving them stranded in France.
