A charity page set up by an employment lawyer is continuing to raise a huge sum to help Save The Children do vital work for refugee families.

Sean Jones QC of 11 KBW created the JustGiving page earlier this month asking lawyers to donate a billable hour. The appeal has gathered such wide support that donations are currently at a whopping £183,663.17 and rising. Jones originally set a target of £7,500.

If you haven't already done so, please give generously here. Jones says on the JustGiving page, "Not everyone can give, we know. If you cannot please deploy your advocacy skills to nag someone else into doing so."  And if that doesn't work, Jones has some other advice:

... RoF will be at hand to receive such negatives.

If readers have any ideas as to how the legal profession can be of help to refugees, other than cutting a cheque, please get in touch here.
