Rudd will struggle as I think events this week will have wiped out the remains of her majority in Hastings where the fishermen want to stop the French boats competing with them. Can you have a PM who's unlikely to win her own seat at an election?

Although I have never looked for promotion all I have ever wanted is to serve my country and if my colleagues were to persuade me that it were in the best interests of the nation then (no matter what my own feelings on the subject) then I would feel duty bound to consider the concept seriously.
