I’ve got a dinner in London on a weekday evening. I’ll be travelling down on the train after work (early dart) and going straight to the dinner. 
 

Do I wear my dinner jacket to work from the morning? Or wear a normal suit and change at work before getting the train? Or get changed on the train? Or something else?
