The books I go back to a lot are Jerusalem (Ottolenghi) and Sababa (Adeena Sussman) - both have the food you eat these days in Israel.
when I have more time to cook and to find ingredients, I’m also cooking a lot from a couple of Japanese books - I particularly like Harumi’s Kitchen and her other books - apparently she’s the Japanese version of Delia - solid recipes, clear instructions, traditional but not hours and hours of prep. Home cooking.
Two Fat Ladies
Can't beat Delia for general reference.
Delia best general but the best deliciousness to effort ratio has to be Diane Henry, Oven to Table is particularly good.
either The Food Lab or Jamie’s Italy
What do you like to cook/how good are you?
