Haven't seen 3 yet but 2 was certainly not garbage.

2 wasn’t garbage but was a big step down from 1

Evenwith 1 I thought the ending was a bit of a letdown.

I've enjoyed the episodes so far, but I have a worrying feeling the ending will be crap like season 1.

it did get a bit generic horror film in the last episode 

Lots of time-shifting between 3 distinct periods, and has a similar feel to Series 1. 

Still feels the characterisation is a bit ‘detached’. Still difficult to know exactly what makes them tick...

Think we may see some surprises however about Lt West in the final 2 episodes, re. his sexuality.

Great acting all round in both series 1 and 3.

Series 2 was altogether very poor indeed.
