The term "single market"

A single market is a type of trade bloc in which most trade barriers have been removed (for goods) with some common policies on product regulation, and freedom of movement of the factors of production (capital and labour) and of enterprise and services. The goal is that the movement of capital, labour, goods, and services between the members is as easy as within them.[1] The physical (borders), technical (standards) and fiscal (taxes) barriers among the member states are removed to the maximum extent possible. These barriers obstruct the freedom of movement of the four factors of production.

so, those who wish to remain, there can be no caps on immigration per se. freedom of movement means freedom of movement.

also, what were brexiters like hannan talking about when they spouted nonsense like "leaving the EU does not mean we leave the single market". errr, yes that is exactly what it means. it's funny anyway what they said back then and now it's "yeah, hard brexit is what people voted for, isn't it clear?"

brexiters don't even know what they are talking about non shocka

how can someone like farage (who also said "no one is talking about quitting the single market") sit as an MEP, draw 9k per month without any fooking clue?

this why I also want to get involved. not that I know everything but at least I am trying and will know and understand even more in the future

In many industry sectors there already is a global single market in terms of product standards. Doesn't mean I could move to Australia or Canada automatically if I wanted.
